Quarter Panel question

What is the bottom off the quarter panel to the rocker suppost to look like? Is fiinshed smooth or not . If anybody has picture , it would be very helpful.

As requested. This is from a 68 charger. The joint that looks flush is welded (wire or stick) to the rocker then leaded. The bottom of the 1/4 is spot welded at 3 different locations where the rocker has raised spots. They were nice enough and left the bottom joint open to catch water....

LOL...Yeah, what a bunch of stand up dudes!


You'll find below the door the factory welded the seam between the two and had a few spot welds, then covered with lead.
