Quarter post window Seals

How do these seals install into the driver and passenger posts frame on the window. These two seals appear to be 18 to 24 inch in length. Does any one have suggestions or picture that discribe the install. Is there any sealant used?

Mine were held in with black 3m adhesive. There are grooves they slide into.

I just did mine, once you get the old seals out the new ones slide in the channels easilly if you soap them. On mine they were longer than necessary, I made sure they were pushed in tightly, not stretched before I cut off the excess rubber. Cut them a touch longer so when they shrink there is no gap.
