Alright, what am I missing here. I have this huge gap between the end of my interior door panel and the end of the sill. I don't have the sail panels installed yet, but I don't see how this would cover that area. I bought replacement chrome/felts for the inside and my back ones are like 3 inches too long, which makes sense if I have the wrong interior panel some how. I've uploaded two pictures of the problem area.

Yup, I am definitely missing those pieces. I assume they go on after the headliner/sail pans are installed. Any idea what they would call those pieces to buy them?

i would call them
71-2 interior rear quarter window trim? (not sure on later years)
they pop up on ebay from time to time
or steal my pic and post up a ad on here in the wanted section..

Looking at the pictures again, maybe I have them placed incorrectly. I'll try and slide it down to meet but I think that messes up the fitting at the back, but I'll try it.

I am thinking that your panels are not original to this car. Probably have the wrong year panels installed.

I'm starting to think the same thing. If anyone has a 72 Satellite/Roadrunner if they could send me a picture of theirs.

Alright, I thought I could finally put this to rest. I ordered two new replacement rear panels for my car, but it doesn't come with the metal insert to give it it's rigid form. It's just floppy fabric and cardboard. I messaged Classic Industries back and they don't know what I'm talking about.
