I've got steel "cop car wheels" on my '64 Polara. 15"x8" on the rear and 15"x7" on the front. If you'll note in the photo.... these have the smaller 9" dog dish caps. Is it true that the wheels on the early 60's cars should accept the larger 10" dog dish caps?

If this is true, where can I get such wheels? Are they made in the aftermarket? Or, what would be a donor vehicle for wheels that accept a 10" dog dish?

they used a 9 3/4" cap vs the '68 and newer 8 3/4". there isn't any new or repop source for the older wheels. sometimes they come up in for sale adds. the 15" early wheels are very difficult to find.
