I’m installing a Tachometer into my 69RR in the das panel;
before I close everything up I have a question about the hole in
the back of the tac. It seems to have a brass flange that connects
to an install screw. Take a look at the attached photo, let me know.
The instruction (see attach photo) do not indicate what it is for.

Thanks

That would be for a light bulb socket that hooks into a orange wire in the dash harness.

x2...youre also missing a twist -in light bulb in the circuit board.( the green part) . they are 1/2 inch...NOT 5/8.

The brass strip is the ground for the lamp.

Thanks everyone.............
I have the light bulb in the circuit board just took it our to clean it.

BUT....the tac (wiring) did not come with a light buld ...... should it have?

Thanks

You have to buy the bulb socket seperate. chargerspecialties.com has them for $10.
