Question about spider gears and 8 3/4

I had a 8 3/4 sure grip gave to me the week, but I'm kind of confused because it's a clutch type and one of the spider gears are split. Just want to know if these spider gears are the same http://www.doctordiff.com/powr-lok-internal-parts-kit.html

I have a 489 case, I'm not up on the rear ends so any information will help.

Yes, I just did this and got the parts from Dr. Diff. Good upgrade to the 1 piece splines.If your unit is older it would have the 2 piece splines. You can e-mail him and he will answer any questions you may have.

I emailed Dr. Diff last night, he is all out of the powr-lok internal parts kit and he doesn't know when the manufacturer will be making more. Although he may have a differential cross to sell. Does anybody here know if these are made anywhere else? I searched around but came up with nothing and I'm almost ready to take my car out.
