Hey all,

I recently stumbled across a few fully intact vehicles in my forever search for my next project that I have no idea what they are worth or if they are worth anything. The first is a early 1970's (71-72?) AMC Javelin Pierre Cardin edition. I have seen these advertised as "rare" interior options, but as we all know rare can have several and varying meanings to many. The car is say 97% intact and sitting in a non-crushing older cars junkyard in Nowhere America (dry Southwest state) the rust is likely minimal. But what is it worth as a rebuildable project car? Is it a highly enough sought after ride to risk putting up the cash to buy it, then flip it to finance the ride I do want?

The second vehicle I found is a 1977-ish Dodge Warlock truck. This baby looks as though you could dribble some gas in the carb and fire it right up. The wood racks are missing from the bed, but the "Warlock" logo is still visible in the paint on the tail gate, and this ride is say 96% all there as well. Same question as above, I know this truck is prized in a certain crowd, but is it prized enough to risk buying it and flipping it?

I am still researching prices on my own and looking at market indicators like Ebay, Craigslist, Meecham Auto Auctions, etc. Just looking for some sage in-site from this crowd as it never disappoints.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I did snap these shots of both rides, not too much detail, just a few shots to remind me of the overall condition of the cars.

The AMC looks to have the AMX hood and spoiler. If its a PC AMX its very rare and if its a 401 car even rarer. The Warlock is faily rare and pretty cool also.

I was reading something about the hood last night, something called a "Go Pack"?? Active cowl induction from what I read. Sharp eyes, I missed that when I took the picture and when I posted it. Unfortunately the restored price on those seems a bit low to warrant buying it and flipping it. I know nothing about AMC/AMX cars, is there a fender tag or similar that you read to find the options? Do you know where it is located?

The Go Package fresh air hood was in 1970.

That car is a 71-up when Javelins and AMXs shared the same body. The AMX was just an optional package of the Javelin then.

Prior to 71 (68-70) the AMX was a shorten version of the Javelin with a shorter wheelbase and no back seat.

The car in the picture above has a standard 71 up flat Javelin hood.
