Quick dash light question

Still changing bulbs and doing general dash troubleshooting... just have to check with you guys - is the oil pressure idiot light supposed to light up when key is turned to ignition?

and the ground for the idiot light is the oil pressure switch at the block....if switch is bad, light will not work. You can test by grounding that wire and then turn on ignition and see if it lights up

Of course - the inevitable ground issues... my Satellite is already having a few. Will check that out, thanks for the heads-up.

Make sure your cluster housing is grounded to the dash frame. If you painted either one it could prevent a good ground.

You'll need a big socket to change the sending unit. Or, buy the specially made socket.
