Just today I received my set of Trick Flow 78cc heads for my 512 stroker. They are absolutely beautifully machined and well thought out. They have actually machined a section on the front right head so fitting large body distributors are a thing of the past. There are drain channels in the heads to allow oil to return through the rod openings which are very generous in size so there's no rod-rub on the heads even with 3/8 rods. We all know that senerio when installing roller rockers and trying to center them on the valve tips without the rods scrubbing the heads. There is no porting required with these heads as the ports are nicely curved and smoothed right to the valve seats ( both intake and exhaust ). The standoffs that the rocker rods mount on are much wider than OE and it appears as if the oil ports through the heads are slightly larger as well. I suspect that they will perform well with my TBI but only time will tell.
