Yes, I have used many ( >20) and they are rad. The Slayer series usually needs the main jet sizes increased and secondary diaphragm tuning on a big block but is a great value. I have 4150 1050's on all of my hot rods. They all tended to be fat down low and in the transition but easily tuned to you combo. Whatcha building?
It's a 383, +.030, 0 deck 440source heads. Had them polished, ported, ccd to 75, 5 angel valve job. Lunati cam, roller rockers from comp. I recently ordere an MSD RTR but was bad right out of the box. After talking to the guy from 4secondsflat and finding out the electronics are made in China, I am now leaning to his ecu and having him curve and phase my distributor. He is how I heard of Quickfuel. I had originally wanted to go with the new Holley Sniper but all EFI's I see also require a capacitor discharge box.
I ordered a Q series 750 DP Quick Fuel off of Don (foursecondsflat) this Summer, by far the best carb I've ever had. It's crisp and clean no matter whether your putting it to the floor or idling around town, no flat spots, no vaporlocking, nice strong pull threw the whole rpm range and best of all it came right out of the box that way. I gave him all of my specs, he calls QF and they build it to spec even engine tuning it. Did I mention it cost less going this route then going threw Summit! Love mine.
