A friend of mine came across this. I said I'm sure someone here would have some idea of value?? It weighs about 28 pounds with the can. What do all think?

There was a time when it was $1,000 a jug. Now you can’t seem to give it away.

You can look at sold items on fleabay to see what people are paying. Don't go by the asking prices. I have bought 14 oz cans for as little as 5 dollars. but the average is usually between 10 and 20 dollars a pound.

Yep, most R12 cars are gone and supply and demand are balancing out, with demand dropping quicker than the supply.

There are also products out there that work in both R-12 & 134a that are inexpensive and work well.

I used Freeze 12 in my 64 Belvedere. A less expensive substitute for R 12 purchased at the local NAPA store and it worked just as good as the R12
