Radiator 2898045

My Uncle picked up a beautiful dark blue 1968 Charger R/T last week. He was curious to about his radiator and seems to remember that they had 26” and not 22” on the 440 engine equipped B bodies. Would radiator part # 2898045 be correct for his R/T automatic transmission?

Automatic and no AC came with a 22" 2898045.

As stated above that is correct....My 69 Charger RT 440 AT non AC came with the 22" that part number is 2949053 for 69.....

That will also negate whether you get power or manual brakes as standard equipment in relation to gearing.....Same goes for 4 speeds 26" was standard with that option...

He was leaving my house as I was coming home from work yesterday. It was unusually warm in the mid 70's so he took me for a ride in it. I was in a rush do I did not think to get a few pictures of it. It is a nice driver. I will get a few pictures next time it warms up so it may be a few months...
