Hello,
Anybody know if the radiator support yoke is removeable by unbolting verses cutting, on a 1963 Plymouth Fury convertible?

The core support is welded in!Drill out the spot welds to remove it

It is part of the unibody and therefore not meant to be removed. Cutting is the only alternative.

Moparsteve636 and Wedgie, thank you very much for the info. I greatly appreciate it.

Mine used to bolt back together with a custom cut piece,I stopped putting it back:) Don't have to raise the engine as high to reinstall:blob1:

That's what I was thinking of doing. Thanks for the pics. I didn't have enough height under my garage door for the engine hoist to install the motor and 4 speed together. Today I removed the front wheels and dropped the car down so the rotors were an inch off the floor. Levered the trans over the radiator support and then slowly pushed back and let the motor down a little at a time until the tail housing was sitting on a floor jack. Then took the car up enough to get the hoist legs under the control arms and pushed it on back. Sitting on the mounts now. Not as easy as it was 40 years ago!
Again, thanks for the help.

Cut mine completely out and had an aluminum one fabbed up. It bolts in with button head allen bolts...

Mark42202 that looks great! colorado dave, here are a couple pictures of what I did with mine, for a more factory look. A dissembled pic and finished pic. Hope it helps.

Thanks, bbodee and mark42202 for the pictures. A lot of ingenuity there on both cars.
