I'm installing an antenna from Year One on my 68 Super Bee, the fender tag says it came with a radio and the rear speaker option, but there's no antenna or hole in the fender, so it either has a replacement fender, or the hole was plugged for some reason, but it doesn't look like it was plugged from underneath. Does anyone have any good pics of where theirs are mounted on the fender? I know they went on the pass side fender, but not exactly sure where i should put the hole (how far from the edge, or hood seam, etc...) Also read that dealerships possibly mounted them when they were delivered, and maybe there are templates floating around out there?

you probably got a replacement fender on there....factory service manual will show specs to punch antenna hole

Just measured mine- 7-3/8" from rear-most edge of fender & 2-3/8" from raised outer edge of fender. Worked overtime on 2nd shift!!LOL..(rear-most edge of fender is the closest point by the cowl)..Not sure of hole size itself.

The hole through the fender has to be at least 1.275 because that is what my stock chrome antenna bezel measures. Also there are two slots off of this hole like 12:00 and 6:00 at the front and rear of car of this hole to let the bezel drop in the hole ( measurement over these slots on the bezel are 1.440 ).
