Would anybody have a picture of their factory AM radio ?
What I'm trying to do is to buy one since mine is long gone.
I have tried 2 antique auto radio vendors but have had no luck.
It would also be helpful if any manufacturer's info off the radio is also included along with possible dimensions of the radio.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,Dennis

It would help to know what year, make and model or car. Once we have that then we can work on locating a radio for you.

Oops

You are totally correct.
On my drive home it dawned on me that I forgot to indicate what the radio was for.
The radio info is for a 1965 Plymouth satellite.
Sorry for my stupidity!!!!
Thanks,Dennis

Any one know if my 64 Polara radio would be the same as chevy1171's 65? If so I can sell mine to you. Went with radio delete plate. A new stereo with ipod connection to go under dash.

You would have to see both of them to know for sure. Since you have yours post a photo. Most or them said Dodge or Plymouth on them and they made both an AM and an AM/FM version. The one below is an AM radio, built by Bendix for Mopar and is a model 224

Plymouth Radio

Any of those plymouth radios including faceplate for sale?
Thanks Dennis

Face plate is normally sold as a seperate piece unless you can find a complete unit.

Know where to get just a radio

Hey 65 Plymouth Satellite 426:
I have had the chance to buy 2 radios from separate antique auto radio collectors but had no faceplates.
You MAY be interested BUT the radios are in Ontario Canada.
Both individuals were asking $ 150. ( Canadian $'s)
This is the contact info:
Harold @ 613-475-4257
George @ 519-576-2570
Both these gentlemen are in their 70's and have literally 1000's of auto radios.
Great guys and VERY knowledgeable!
Good luck. Dennis

PS- Here is a picture of my satellite that I bought approx 6 months ago.
Believe it or not , after posting pictures of the car on some Mopar web sites I found and talked to the original buyer of the car.
