Brought my Satellite home today to try and do a few things. The hood needs to be realigned as it is too close to one fender edge. Tried a few things but could only make it just slightly (maybe 1/32 of an inch) better. Also wanted to check the tag on my rear differential and it is 2.94. I thought that it should have been 2.93? Also while under there I measured the yoke on my driveshaft (3-1/4 inches) and the yoke on the 3.55 gears I bought yesterday (3-3/4 inches). So I guess I need to change the driveshaft? Or can I change the yoke? Those gears turned out to be a pretty good deal. They're in nice condition, no chips or chunks or anything and they turn nicely. I think it was money well spent, at least I hope so. It will probably be awhile before there in my car though. Lastly I wanted to change out the tranny fluid and filter but I didn't have enough fluid to refill. So didn't accomplish much but it was still nice to take it for the ride.

Regarding different yokes sizes go to NAPA or another chain parts store. You can buy a U joint with the two diff sizes one big - one small.

I have big U joint drive shaft in my 70 RR small U joint yoke on the 4.10 rear. Btw I'll trade :)

Kidding about the of course since it's cost prohibitive to deal that far away.

the smaller Universals & shaft has #7260 Universal joints {smaller caps 1.078"}, the larger ones are #7290 Universals {slightly larger caps 1.125"}, which are like on a RR GTX w/8-3/4" 742 or 489 carrier type rear axle, with a tf-727 or 23 spline 4 speed etc., the U-strap style are #1350, there are others, but that's the basics....
