Anyone get their new ignition box or actually see one (ecu)?
I had purchased a points conversion late last Summer (yes 2011) or early Fall and only received everything once my car was stored for the winter. So this Spring I decide to install everything (distributor, Module, coil, wires and VR) - but no instructions. No big deal, I give them a call - I then find out that they have issues with their modules and the car will not start - that I have to send back the module for an updated one ( I'm sure they told me it cost $30.00 more).
So I send it off in April, I had to pay $20.00 for shipping and I'm still waiting.
Now the worst part is they send me a picture of the new module and personally I would not install that on my firewall - it's no longer black.
Man, I've asked for a refund and they kind of ignore my request and tell me they are shipping the module right away - the issue is I would not have bought the module if it looked the way it does now. AND NO, I'M NOT PAINTING IT.
Time to call MSD - If I ever receive the parts I'll post them up for sale. LOL by the looks of it the plug wires wont fit the HEI posts on the MSD distributor... great! :angry9:
