RB/B and LA Heads

Hey, two questions: 1. Can RB/B heads be bolted to an LA block and vice versa? It might be a dumb question, but at least I'm learning.
2. What kind of compression can be expected from
mating 318 heads to a 360 block with all else being
stock?

b/rb heads wont work on la. any compression gains will be offset by the smaller runners with 318 heads on a 360. best way to boost compression is piston swap and block decking

Thanks for the response. The 360 has 318 heads installed and was curious why the previous owner would do that.
