Non Sure Grip. Large window. Thin casting. No springs. True Suregrip, small window in casting, 3/8 inch plus material and springs. I took this out of my matching numbers 1973 340 Challenger Ralleye. Car showed all the right stuff for a Ralleye car. 26 inch wide radiator, 4 big gauges with the Tic Toc Tach. Engine and trans numbers matched the last 6 of the vin. No stamped tag for the gear ratio on the rear end. Ex wife took the fender tag. I did not know you could put a non Suregrip in a 489 case. She also took the fender tag for a 69 Coronet vert. I didn't have the original 383. It was a 70 440. But it was proof that it was a true 4 speed vert. The vin is in the trans case. I'm still cryin. Sold my 69 R/T, black ext, blue int, high back buckets, column shift, buddy seat. I did not have the original engine or trans. It did have the Ramcharger hood. Then I sold my buddys son a 70 Charger that I did not have a drive train for so... we built a 440 6 Pak... I'm still cryin...

Very cool ,sucks about your ex old lady I hide my tags she knows that not having them on the rare cars causes problems . So I put them where she will never look in the dishwasher:icon_fU:

It seems like I jumped into the middle of this story.

I can paint better than that. Then I woke up from my dream. You are a talented MF dude!
