I have 10" drums and want to use the bendix drums with the fins rather than the smooth drums ? anyone know

Anyways I have a set of 11" x2 1/2" drums backing plates shoes and hardware... it's all NOS I believe the 10" factory ones are just bigger diameter unless someone chimes in...

I am pretty sure that the 10 inch drums are interchangeable (as long as they are the same size).
those 11 x 2 1/2 will offer much better stopping power so I would go with them if you have all the stuff.

I have every thing from the axle seal backing plate cylinders hardware the drum... for 11"- 5 on 4 1/2" dana/ 8 3/4 .... I have the 8 3/4 w741 carrier. The parts are from an axe off an '84 d150.... drums are true and turned and measure 11. 085... my main concern is some of the early 11 rear brakes are different and the 80's and 90's ones look closer to the '67 than the c body stuff a few years earlier..

Better make certain of the bolt pattern. Dodge trucks changed to a 5 on 5 inch pattern sometime in the mid 80's.

I think I will be ok their both 5 on 4 1/2 .... 2 1/2" wide shoes...
