Rear End help needed plz

My 72 charger has a 8 1/4 rear end. I have located a 8 3/4 B body rear frm a 66 Belvedere. Will i need the leaf springs frm it as well or will my current stock leaf springs work with the 8 3/4? Also would it bolt right in? Thanks

Will not bolt right in. The 66 housing is shorter and spring perches are at different locations. Your springs will work when you find the right housing.

I make a 1 1/4" offset spring hanger/shackle kit for '71-'72 B-bodies, but you must still relocate the spring perches on the early B-body housing.

This combination allows you to run a 10" wide wheel with 4.5" backspacing.

If you're happy with your springs, use them. The axle housing doesn't care, but the spring perches need to be moved. If you're looking for more tire clearance offset the front hangers & rear shackles too.
