Ok, the good news is I have turn signal, headlight switch on power to rear and side markers, and brake pedal power all going to my tail light harness connecter in the trunk working as it should.
The bad news is,
between the shaved side marker lights, and several other hacks,
I am having trouble making heads or tails of the harness that connects to that.
I am used to just popping the trunk and accessing everything. My access to the harness with housings external to the trunk is hampering my progress.
For experience third gen B body owners,
what works best for you.
Pull entire harness and sort out
remove rear valence and work on from under car with bumper on
remove valence, bumper, sort out then back on
basically,
what ends up being the most efficient and accurate way to sort it out?
While I have the manual and great wiring diagram,
I have no intact car to compare it to.
