I just purchased a rear lamp harness from Year One for my 72 satellite. I took the old harness out and found that it had been spliced from the rear sidemarker light on the drivers side to the passenger side. I found that the wires on the new harness stopped at the rear sidemarker lamp on the drivers side and there is no lamp socket running to that passenger side. The old harness wires run from one socket to the other, inside the trunk. The harness also plugs into the sending unit of the gas tank.

Has anyone out there bought the same harness?

Is there a separate harness running to the passenger side?

Could the passenger side be connected to the wires running to the rear tail lamps?

Thanks

Acutally ther are 3 parts to the rear body harness. Main from dash to truck. Left harness which is part of the left tail light housing. Right harness thats part of the right housing. Here is a pic of the left side. The side marker leads are part of the housing harness, same for both sides. The housing harnesses are ran behind the bumper and the leads for the side markers come back into the truck via the rubber grommets.
