Rear Quarter Glass Outside Fuzzy Install

The front doors were pretty straight forward and the inside rear quarters screw in with the inner panel removed. What about the outside rear quarter fuzzies? I thought they would just pop in like the fronts, but the clips on the fuzzies look like they snap straight in rather than sliding down into the door slots like the front. Not much working clearance with the windows in place and rolled down, and I have already broken two of the clips trying. Do the rear windows have to be removed to install these?

Try removing the door panel and lowering or removing the down stops.

Mine went right in on my 66 Satellite. I might have had the window stop lowered though but that's no big deal. I think I had to angle them in, making sure that every tab was lined up with a slot before snapping them in place. I pulled one window previously to clean up all the mechanisms but will never do that again!
