would you replace the old one if it had the two holes enlarged where bolts go,so bolts would not fit,or would you use washers for large holes?
 
You could weld extra heavy washers to the crossmember that have the correct size hole for the bolt you need.
 
i welded washers to crossmember,it worked out nice ! plus alot better then changing thre crossmember !
 
As long as the metal is still solid around the holes, you shouldn't have any problems welding the washers on.
