I just ordered new rear leaf springs(stock Coronet 5 pack +1"), new shackles, and hardware, from Springs n Things. They were very helpful. Also got a set of KYB gas adjust shocks. I was just wondering if there were torque specs when tightening down the rear suspension ? I don't want it coming lose and I don't want to overtighten either. Also if there is anything I should watch out for or any tricks(besides using penetrating oil) when I do this.

i'm not aware of any torque specs to tighten, just good american muscle.what i do is put a dab of lube on the threads, keeps the rust from invading and makes it easier if you have to take it off in the future.i've done that whenever i change tires and haven't had any problems yet.
