On my 71, I am running the RMS front end, a TKO 600 5 speed, super stock springs with Competition Engineering Slide A Links out back.

I can't get a definate answer as to whether one should run a rear sway bar or not with Slide A Links? Any opinions or experiences out there?
Also what bar should a guy be running? Had a Helwig, but it wouldn't work.

Anyone running a firm feel or PST rear bar? Will they clear a Slide A Link and a 3" exhaust system?

Do you have photos to post?

I do have the factory bar that I can recondition, it looks like it will clear, but I need a lead on where to get bushings and/or what size to use? The end bushings are totally gon and the link end I am scared will break because the threads look terrible and there isn't much bushing left.

I am guessing that a new link setup can be had for a factory bar?

Any input appreciated. Thanks guys.

I cannot answer as to whether a sway bar will CLEAR, but there's no reason the two will not work together otherwise. In other words, their two functions will not interfere with one another......I know that doesn't help much, but since I saw it, I thought I'd throw it out there.

So they do work separate of each other? I am getting conflicting answers on this. I know I need to do some road testing myself, but just looking for a general concensus on the rear sway bar with a modern front end and OD Trans.

Don't have a problem running a factory bar if I can get parts to rebuild. Am curious on some of the more modern bars too. What guys are finding and how they like them?
