Rear View Mirror

Does any one know a fix for the rear view mirrir on my 68 R/T it is very loose and the bottom set screw seems stripped but at the upper ball I don't see any way to tight it up, any Ideas?

Don't know if it will work for you, but my friend tightened his up by applying crazy glue to the ball part of mirror than rocking it around before it dried so it wouldn't get frozen in place... It effectively "thickened" the ball and tightened the mirror up nicely... Kind of half-assing it, but it might work for you..

If you take it apart the ball sits in a cup. You can hammer the cup a little bit to flatten it out and it will tighten her right up.
