Hi!
I have got a set of used backplates for a mopar 8 3/4" or Dana 60. 11" drums, but i don´t know what car i came from... I need to get new hardware for these brakes but i dont know the origin.. The casting nr on the wheel cylinder is 2881613 so if anyone knows what kind of cars or trucks these brakes could have been sitting on it would be a huge help!

the 2881613 WC is for a 68/69 model year....

The backing plates are date stamped...sometimes hard to read it is located on the inside(where brakes are) just below and to the right or left of the axle in a flat surface area....

I cannot say this again a picture is worth a 1000 words...post a pic!

Yes, 2881606 is the part number 2881613 is the casting number.....These are numbers that can get confusing especially when one dwells into OE suspension parts. There is no one single reference that lists casting numbers and part numbers together for all parts and years...Wheel cylinders are more common to have those listings and especially the 68-71 years...

Thanx! I ordered 2 new wheelcylinders for $20 each here in sweden.. cheaper than a restoration kit for the old cylinders...
