I just purchased a 66 belvedere vert. I'm having an issue with drivers side rear qtr window rolling down. My concern is removing the interior panel to access the window mechanism. I'm worried about damaging the panel. Any tips tricks or ideas? Thanks much.

Don't know about the vert, but HT rear windows in 66/67 have some crazy machinations for raising and lowering.
IIRC, down in back, then straight down, then back, and then down in front.
Those shorty rear cranks don't help either, specially if the lube is old.
I'm using front cranks on my rears to help with torque.

I don't think it's too bad to get the panel off. Just gotta be prepared to remove a bunch of stuff.
Start with the sill plate. Not sure how the armrest comes into play on the vert.

The 66 FSM is on-line in PDF. That should show it.

You will have to take the rear seat out, remove crank, 3 screws on top, one at front bottom, one at center bottom. One at top of panel that crosses behind seat (there are others around this area too) Swivel the panel, sliding out from under the inner cat whisker while un hooking from the rear seat panel, unplug courtesy light harness panel comes right out. - clear as mud?
