relays and 60 amp alternator

Need help with some ideas on how to do the best install...

Relocated my battery to the trunk and adding electric:

new 60 amp alternator
fuel pump
radiator fans
trans cooler with fan
water pump
MSD box
battery shut off?
thinking about up grading headlights
Hurst roll control
trans break
 
A hi amp alternator @ idle is my first thought. Just the fans can suck a ton of amps. And most alts don't do jack @ idle......
 
If all that stuff you have listed is electric you are going to need a bigger alternator. The list suggest a street/strip build so if the battery goes in the trunk a kill switch will have to be put in.
 
60 Amp alternator is enough your not going to draw that much and at idle your going to have 30 to 40 amps. Your cooling fans might draw a 5 to 10 amps that's the high draw everything else will probably be a max of 20 amps with everything running...
 
Here are some amp draw examples on the parts you listed. Some manufacturers only state the required fuse needed so the actual amps will be below that level. Things like cooling fans state the running amps but the starting/surge amps can be much higher. I can't speak to the light upgrade.
Your in the neighborhood of 40-50 amps running not including the lights. The roll control and transbrake are only used for a very short time. Just what BIGSHCLUNK and Crackedback said, look for an alternator that has a high idle output. Your 60 amp alternator won't keep up at idle or low speeds unless you install a Mopar P3690731, constant output "race only" regulator.

fuel pump - Holley Blue 3 amps (suggested fuse 7.5 or 15 amp if installed with relay)
radiator fans - 10" fan about 10 amps running, 16" fan about 20 amps running. Start surge is higher.
trans cooler with fan - Derale 5.3, 15 amps Max with thermostat switch. B&M requires 15 amp fuse.
water pump - CVR 6.1 amps, Meziere 8 amps
MSD box - stated at .9 amp per 1000 rpm's (6AL).

on today standards I won't ever run an alt unable to give AT LEAST 45-50 amps IDDLING. A 60 amps alt won't ever give you that. If you can get more, better

then about the rest. If keeping ammeter in place, EVERYT NEW ACCESORY need to be sourced from anywhere between ammeter and alternator wire, never on batt side
