Remove instrument cluster 1970 Bee - procedure?

Hi I'm trying to remove the instrument cluster from my 1970 Super Bee. I disconnected the battery, speedo cable, unscrewed the screws visible at the front and loosened the cabling under the dash.
Do I need to disconnect the cables (possible but difficult) connected at the back?
Can I wiggle/slide/whatever the cluster out (seems stuck somewhere)?
How do I remove the hard plastic padding? (seems screws are at the back)
Do I need to do something with the steering column?

Any help/tips/video welcome.

You need to drop the column then you can get it out far enough to disconnect "everything" from the back.
