What tools are needed i will be stripping front suspension parts from k frame what tools are needed for that job? Thanks

If you're re-using the torsion bars, you'll need the tool for that. Upper balljoint socket. Standard tools for the rest.

You'll also need a pitman arm puller and a pickle fork to pop the ball joints/tie rods out. Small torch for heating things up, especially with the cam adjusting bolts and possibly your strut rods and pivot shaft nuts. Would take a wild guess to think your upper and lower control arm bushings will need to be pressed out at a shop.

Mancini and Summit sell an affordable front end tool kit for our cars. There are 5 or 6 pieces in it and really make the job easier.

Prop;I did my C-A bushings at home(in a big-azz vise) with a Mancini Racing kit made just for front end work. They offer a kit with the tools to do the arms, remove the torsion bars and more. Guys;call them and get these tools-your job will be easier. Trust me on this.

i got all my front end stuff from ROCK AUTO for around 325.00

I hear ya Al. I have the American Muscle torsion Bar removal tool, upper ball joint socket and control arm bushing removal tool. All work great. Last year I was able to press out the upper control arm bushings in my Coronet with the tool, but with no avail, I couldn't for the life of me get them out with the tool on my roadrunner. Lowers I just tac weld a washer to the lip on the bushing and use the press at work to pop them out.

Here's the tool for the bushings:

Here's where I bought my kit.... I would recommend changing the bolts in the torsion bar removal tool with Grade 8's

I think that their stuff is what Mancini's sells-good stuff. I had to get a tack weld on my bushings to get 'em out,but the tools did their job.

past couple years I started using Mancini quite a bit...some prices are a little out of wack, but in general pretty average and they have really decent stuff. They're one of the very few vendors that have been really good to me thus far.
