Does anyone make a product to remove plastic coat paint from steel rims?

If you have a wash tub & 20 gal of solvent, try a 50:50 mix of toluene & Methyl ethyl ketone. No smoking!

Many larger urban areas have shops that will bake off coatings and not damage the substrate. Some refer to the process as "ash burning".
