Can anyone give me some tips to remove the emergency brake cable form the brake drum?
I'm removing the rear axle from my '69 Charger to clean it up and paint it.
Thanks,
Camile

I usually take it off the lever and use a box end wrench and tap it over the clips that locks it to the backing plate, think it is 1/2 not positive though.

A small worm clamp will sometimes do the trick.
They also make a tool for it
But I don't know how good or worthless
It is..

I'm with flypaper on this. A small hose clamp works great, squeeze it down and wiggle it out, as long as it's not seriously rusted. Good Luck

I have the pliers made for this, their inexpensive and work awesome
