Trying to replace the master cylinder on my 65 coronet and I'm having trouble getting to the two nuts on the right hand side of the bracket under the dash. Any suggestions on how to get to them would be appreciated!

I take it it's manual.

One of the worst pains in the *** about working on thses cars.
Seems a std length socket is too short for the studs and a deep is too deep and hits the column bracket.

I think you can get "1/2 deep" sockets like Stanley or Craftsman. Still need universal and/or wobbly, and lost of patience for slipping/knuckle busting and laying on your back with bent spine and tolerance for rush of blood to head !@^&*(&@#$%^!

...cursing also helps.

I'll be doing this for the 4th time in as many weeks this weekend.
