Are there spot welds holding pan to frame rails and rear bumper frame welds? And the inner fenders around the bottom? Thanks

Yup and about a bazillion of them too. You'll be sick of drilling spot welds by the time your done trust me.

Yes Johnny......... there are many weld's all along the top of the framerail's, and the rear bumper and rear crossmember area's to, and also the bottom inner fender's. The best way to spot them is to take at least 80 grit or coarser sandpaper, and run down the area's to find the weld's. Just because you drill a weld right on center, does not mean you've hit a bullseye either, as the weld's can be another half hole off too, but sometime's you get lucky. It's just a lot of trial and error, and you will get better along the way, as this kind of work is tedious and can be frusterating at time's. It also help's sometime's to just get away from it for a little while, as we have been doing this kind of work for many year's, and nothing is totally the same. Good luck to ya.

These guys are right! You have a ton to drill out. Good news, it's not rocket science...just work. You'll have them across the trunk to rear upper interior pan, along the inner rear wheelhouse, extension panels, frame rails, shackle mounts, rear trunk fill panel, rear crossmember, trunk pan crossmember, trunk latch support and rear trunk fill panel supports. Get yourself a decent spot weld cutter (like blair) and go to town

Remember, there's no need to replace the whole floor if only the center is rotted out. If you can get away with it, the best thing to do is cut the floor with a zip wheel right down the center (of either side) of the frame rail flange. When you butt weld the new floor in, you'll have the frame rail under it which will keep the weld from blowing out and you won't have to dress the weld on the other side.
