Anybody know if its practical to repair a 2 inch crack in a 70 b-body dash pad that is other wise in nice condition? The crack is about 1/32 wide. Can you fill it with something and then spray the whole pad with sem vinyl paint?

The real question here is is how dry rotted is the rest of the dash? The drier it is, the harder it is to do the job. I used to do this type of work as a franchise, you have to remember that this is repair and there could be a scar. Depending on how bad it's dry rotted will reflect on the quality of the repair, as well as the quality of the repair. I hate to promote them but look at Dr.vinyl.com for the Doc near you. I'm guessing that with this type for a repair, your looking at anywhere from $50-125, depending on how bad it is. The color of the dash will also determine how well it's hidden. Remember that it could be scared and how noticeable. It is a repair and not replacement, depends on the quality of the repair. Your call, Good Luck
