I'm thinking my Winter project this year might be to replace the side glass in my 70 Charger. Just looking for some pointers from anyone who has done this before. Also wondering how difficult it is to get the old glass out and the new glass in? Is it a fairly easy job or a pain in the rear?
My original side glass isn't too bad, but it is scratched up a bit. I think it would look much better with new clear glass. Any recommendations on who to buy the glass from would help too.
Thanks!

Replaced rear side window glass in my 68 Charger about 15 years ago. WIll not replace another one outside. Park it in a garage or plan on replacing track guides in advance some of the internal parts can get hard to find if they need to be replaced. I had good downer parts on hand. Was not all that difficult. Plan on cuts and scraps from sharp sheet metal and be patient. Also check new glass at top where it meets door glass. Mine came rounded more than the original and goes not seal well.

Before you replace them i would check with a good company to see if the scratches can be removed if not that deep.i would shop for good donar glass as there always is an issue with proper fitment with new ones.
