The 70 Bee has a bad one,do I need to lift the wheels off the ground to change them? And what is the stock length please? Thanks Dave

I'm somewhat confused. I've always serviced a similar job on a lift. In your case, replace both links with new ones.

They can be replaced either way.
I Would use poly bushings.

End links, yeah that's fine in the air.
The bushings that are mounted on the bar at the k-frame I'd want to be finish
tightened with the car on the ground, though.

I have changed them in the air and on the ground, either way works...

Same here, in the air or on the ground, but I do final tightening of fasteners with car resting weight-on-wheels.

I modified these:

Moog, purchased through Rock Auto. Ball jointed so no bushings to wear out. Add grease to the ZERKs though.
They were a bit too long so I cut about 1 1/2" out of the middle.

Welded back together, sand blasted and ready to go.
