My wiring schematic for my 67 Charger shows a resistance wire between two plugs on the rear harness. Anyone know what that is for and what it should look like?

Thanks,

Mark

I just found out it is for the optional rear window defogger that nobody ever ordered on a first gen Charger....so for my car it is N/A...

Possibly, but I believe there is a resistance wire in the rear light harness. If memory serves, it limits current to the 6 tail lights the car has, instead of four in most cars.

yea...but I replaced that wire with a regular wire..made no difference in lighting

I found a roll of 12G fuseable link wire at O'Reillys for 12 bucks. Shall put a piece of that in the harness and call it good...thanks...
