Restoration battery

im thinking about picking up one of those restoration red topper batterys from mancini racing for my savoy,just wondered if anyone else here has purchased one and could shed any positaves or negatives about the battery......it looks great but its a little pricey,,,,,,i don't mind spending the money on it if it performs well.......any input would be appreciated............

Have it load tested and that will tell all... even if someone had good or bad luck with them... you want to have at least 600 smblock and 800cca for a big block. Ask mancini to load test it before they ship. You should be good with any mancini stuff

I bought one about a year ago. So far, no problems at all. Looks very good and cranks my 499 over without a hitch. Bought mine thru Summit Racing, the same Turbo Start battery that Mancini sells only for a couple bucks less AND FREE SHIPPING! This battery weighs 60 lbs, so shipping from Mancini isn't going to be cheap.
