Did a search and kept getting no results.

I was going through tubs of parts sorting for what I can reuse and what I will need for my '69 Charger AC car. I came across the push button Heater/AC controls.

Mine are in rough condition and barely slide. Can someone recommend anyone that goes through and rebuilds that assembly (or sells it for a relatively reasonable price)? I have to admit that with all the vacuum and electrical lines, it has me a little intimidated!

The bright work can be sent out and replated. The vacuum control can still be found online and at the swap meets if yours is no longer working properly. We reproduce the vacuum lines for the different year models. Just take detailed pictures and label the lines as you remove them and the project is not that bad. I believe that Performance Car Graphics sells the a transfer of the graphics for the push buttons. They may likewise offer a restoration service of the piece. I know that Instrument Specialist offers the service and they offer a quality service, but it is not cheap.

Thanks 69bfan,.... It was good to meet you at the Indy show!

You can buy the inner slider plates at Classic Industries these days I noticed too. The plastic pins holding the box together can be drilled out (more likely they are already brittle and broken off) and then drilled and use wood screws to hold it together.

I just purchased a control switch on line for my '65 A Body (Barracuda Formula S). I have not seen it up close yet. It fits a few other models as listed.

Awesome!! I would think that would be a critical part and it says it fits 65-72 BBodies. Thanks Dibbons! By the way,... I have that model you are using for your avatar in my hobby room!
