Members of the 436th Security Forces Squadron line up to give their final farewell to retired military working dog Rico, as his former Air Force handler carried him to a veterinary clinic. Rico was suffering from a spinal cord disease.

Way to go....making a grown *** man burst into tears. RIP Rico, he was an excellent dog.
 
RIP - I know how that one goes our dog Bailey developed that same issue it was very very sad .
 
Our 15 year old collie is fading fast. Hope she makes it to spring.
 
RIP Rico, you're mans best protector...
Sad he had to be put down, that was a nice send off...

It's so sad that they are only in our lives for such a short time and give us more love and companionship then we will ever give to someone in our lifetime.
