Hi, has anyone fitted an aftermarket air cond kit to a 63 B body or similar? Have been looking at the kits from Classic Air and Vintage Air - looks like you can't get a year specific one but can do a generic kit......which I worry could be one of those jobs I wish I never started! I'm in New Zealand & would likely get an air cond expert to install if I did buy a kit as looks like it's best done by an expert. thanks.

I did Vinage Air in my 64 440. Ez job to do and cools great. I am in FLA and A/C is mandatory if you live here year round. It's a after market affair and looks it . Also plan on adding a pusher fan hooked to your brake lights with a override switch if you are doing lots driving in stop and go traffic and want to stay cool.(for the A/C condencer/radiator)
