Reverberator Package ?

I had one back in the day. It was from Motorola and was called the "Vibrasonic". Basically it delays the sound just enough to create an echo effect. It was adjustable for how much echo you wanted.

I have one that I removed from a 65 Belvedere 2 about 30 years ago. I bench tested it a few years ago and it works fine. Not sure what I'm going to use it in yet.

I still have the one I bought in 1965 Motorola always meant to install it in something else.
Originally was in a 65 Coronet for 2 years.

The Beach Boys mentioned it in their 1963 song 'Custom Machine', so you know you need it. :)

My Buddy had one in his 64 Fury, Very cool.. My Uncle put one in his 63 Ford Fairlane,,,in 1963 ! Hooked up to the factory AM.

The only car I ever worked on that had reverb was a 1967 Tempest. The Delco reverb was a LARGE spring that traveled across the entire package try in the trunk. It had a single transistor driver and some sort of foil+cardboard transducer. The transistor driver was shorted and causing a fuse to blow. The dealer we had the radio repair contract with asked me to rip it out and just jump the rear speaker to a aftermarket fader. I kept the reverb unit for many years, but finally tossed it into the trash on one of my moves. Wish I had kept it would make a nice eBay sale.
