I have a A-727tf, wanted to make it a reverse manual. What valve bodies would you recommend? It's a 360 in a 73 charger. It's a street car but I want more umf. And my current 727 just isn't doing it.

Reverse manual valve body really is not a good choice for the street. if you by mistake start out in Second Gear and break loose tires you will risk damage to sprages.

I have a high perf. 440 with a reverse manual shift trans. I have been running it on street for a long time and absolutly love it. As far as shifting you will get use to it in a matter of time. As far as brand I also use the Cheetah.

I've used Chettah valve bodys on the street for nearly 30 years, no failures. And by the way damage wiil occur if driven inproperly in 1st gear not 2nd. The part being damaged would be the low roller clutch.

I drove the car for about 7 months manually. The governor was ruined so the tranny wasn't shifting. I have a 360 which i don't plan on (in second) breaking loose the tires with anytime soon ;)

Cheetah sounds like the way to go, i'm also looking at a slapstick which I'll probably pick that up and a center console at Moparnats!

Yup,,,,, Cheeta even tells you to burn out in second gear "water box"......
I use one in my trans too........

If you were to recommend a certain type of Cheetah what would it be? Cause I've been looking and there are multiple ones at different prices.

Cheetah never a problem.....I did all my water box burn outs in second gear....but some times I do miss just put it in drive and go.
