I like the trim moldings of my vinyl top but greatly dislike the vinyl top. Has anybody used a rhino lining or like material to cover the vinyl area and keep all moldings?

Also prevents me from access body work.

'Spray-On' imitation vinyl roofs were popular in the 70's. What is it that you don't like about the vinyl top? Whatever body work you're talking about would be done before any kind of top went on, right?

Why not just spray the roof white and keep the moldings?

I don't see why not....Spraying a nice uniformed coat might be a little tough, being just one overlapping pass can make a very noticeable difference on surface height and textures. Gun angle, distance and tip pressure also make a bigger difference with uniformity more quickly vs. paint/primer/clear, for the simple fact of how much less atomized bed liner is. Find someone good at spraying it or learn & spray yourself and you'd have on heck of a tough coated surface vs. the vinyl.

Can't stand the look of Rhino Lining in the bed of a pickup much less seeing it on top of a car.....well, you asked :D I would just spray paint it like mentioned. If you want it black, go with some degree of a satin finish maybe.

My truck has a different brand but it is a pain to clean. Painted white would look better.
