on my 64 Dodge 2 dr. hdtp. I want to put a twin post mirror on the right side door. Is there any place to mount it so the driver can actually use it?....................MO

Good question, and yes...the passenger mirror is mounted further back than the driver's mirror. I don't know the exact distance, but the mirror itself should be slightly aft of the vent window post.

Yep, pretty much useless. I mounted mine, needing that mirror as I have only 1 eye and I used the measurement from the drivers side......bingo, can't see **** from the drivers seat so it's there just for looks. Mounting it further back would have been the way to go.

Yep, I am in the same boat with a right side mirror requirement restriction on my drivers licence. Being an old truck driver, I do like to use that right side mirror

Could someone give me a measurement from the front edge of the right door , to be able to use that right mirror? Maybe a picture would help. Thanks for any responce........................MO

Just mounted the drivers side yesterday and thought about mounting the pass side. Chose not to. Your best bet for useable placement might be to sit in the drivers seat and have someone position the right mirror until its placed right. Just a thought. Good luck.
