roadrunner horn ... one or two ???

was there ever dual or two meep meep horns put on any roadrunners ?? anyone ever try it ? does it sound right.. or better ?? or louder... or is it worth the money to add another ??

Never had two beeper horns on any roadrunner I know of. I imagine that two would only be louder... If they are perfectly the same pitch.

Otherwise, you will get a funny harmonic between them that will probably sound aweful.

That's the reason you have a high and low in most cars for harmonic tone and volume on most cars... But go ahead and try it if you have two of them. All the road runners have two horn connectors as part of the wiring harness

Let us know how it sounds.
 
The front wiring harness has horn plugs for both left and righside horns, this is because the satellite and roadrunner use the same harness and the stellite used the high/low horns,. You can do two beep beep horns, my 73 Roadrunner has always had two horns since i bought it in 83. Also, 73runner is correct, it will be louder if they are tuned the same, and i know this because my horns are deafining if standing two close, and they scare the crap out of people sometimes.
